The Van Wijk family is originally a true family of gardeners. Over the years, they have committed themselves to horticulture with various crops. In 2003, Kees van Wijk started growing beautiful Avalanche roses. These large, beautiful roses were a great success. In 2016, however, Kees decided to change course and switch to growing phalaenopsis orchids. This change marked a new phase in their horticultural business, in which they focused on the cultivation of these beloved orchids. Kees started with 3.5 hectares of white phalaenopsis orchids, but soon missed a nice variation in colors. He went looking for the perfect additions and found some new shades to diversify his assortment. In order to distinguish himself from other growers, he also decided to create unique shapes, such as umbrellas, mirrors, cascades, crowns and etc. Kees strived for the highest quality: long shelf life, branches that are flexible and beautiful large flowers.
